In Semester 1, we hosted the majority of our sponsors KPMG, Deloitte, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, McGrathNicol, BDO and the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia at our event “Speed Networking Luncheon”. This event was timed to coincide with the deadline for graduate program applications. With the help of a cost-benefit analysis, we took the risk of holding the event outdoors at Merewether Courtyard for the first time. With over 40 students attending, I believe its safe to say the event was material and profitable to our members!
